A nice traditional located in the central of Athens. I got their grilled chicken and I was surprised at how tender, well seasoned and flavorful the meat is. The portion is quite generous, with a good balance of meat and fries. Staff are friendly and service is fast, definitely recommended.

Both lamb dishes that we ordered were not dry or salty, which was great. The knives provided were intended for cutting meat (bless). The fries were too much for us to finish (portion wise). I recommend this place.

The flavor of the spit-roasted meat is absolutely fantastic, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. The portions are generous, too! You can get a liter of house wine for just 8 euros. During our three-day stay in Athens, we enjoyed two meals here and were very pleased!

This place is an absolute must-go! While it attracts tourists, it’s also a favorite among locals. you’ll see Greeks relaxing with a newspaper, enjoying their meals just as much as visitors. The food is incredibly fresh, and the flavors are as traditional as it gets. It does get quite busy at times, so service can be a bit slow, but that’s a small trade-off for such an authentic experience. The ambiance is fantastic, with live music outside and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The prices are very fair cheaper than many nearby restaurants. If you want real Greek food, this is the place!

The food here was mind-blowing amazing. The lamb and pork cooked on the grill were just divine. The lamb was incredibly tender and melted off the bones, the pork was seasoned perfectly.If you want to eat meat, then this is definitely the place to go!

Lamb on the spit was really delicious. The skin was crispy and well seasoned. As other reviews have warned, it’s a lot of food for one person so my strategy was to just focus on the meat - the fries were average anyway so didn’t want to fill up on potato. The gemista (stuffed tomato and peppers with rice) was divine - so well seasoned and a must-have in my view. We wished that we had enough room to finish all our grilled feta as well - so good! When we went, it was clear at least half the restaurant was full of locals.

Best moussaka in the city! Hearty and made with love. We also got the pork chop and tomato and feta salad. Pork was juicy and perfectly grilled. They also have beer on tap. Service is fast and nice. Lots of locals and portions are generous. Owner is really nice and cares about consumers. Our waiter (with the dark orange hair and braces) was very friendly and spoke English....loved our experience here!!

This is a real tavern, I ordered chicken kebab - souvlaki, they brought me a huge portion of chicken and potatoes, to everything they brought bread as an appetizer, which made me very happy.Everything was very tasty
